Viking Soul's Vision is: - to bring together creative ideas and authentic research - share examples of historical and contemporary Scandinavian music, living history, literary projects and real-time Viking Age livestock on-site at Hamingja - Heritage Farm & Nature Preserve or at your venue (excluding livestock). - invite you to join the journey for knowledge, contemplation, inspiration, hands on experience and creativity - discover resources relevant to your personal journey The Swans of Winter Project offers: a selection of Janina's original material in music, story and spoken word. Viking Soul also showcases some favorite performers, instructors and instrument makers through a collection of videos, photos and links and a brief look at Viking Age Living History. May it be that through the music, ancient sounds, hands on experiences, (ie. care and uses of Viking Age livestock), traditional foods, language, etc., some traditions may be kept alive or continue to grow as a part of our global society. Granddaughter of Norwegian immigrants, Knut and Marie, Janina has launched a variety of projects here on Viking Soul, the result of a lifetime of studies, ancestry, and travels to Scandinavia, Ireland and Scotland over the past thirty-five years. Authenticity and authentic exploration to share with you is the mission.
